Box Profile Steel Roofing Sheets - 0.7mm
Box Profile roofing sheets offer an alternative to the traditional corrugated steel roofing sheets. They are called box profiled because of the shape that the sheet takes on once it is rolled, with a series of profiles and valleys. They are especially designed so that the rain water runs off the high peak steel profiles on the cladding & into the valleys, which then run the water off the sheets.
As standard our box profile roofing sheets are rolled to a 32/1000 specification. This means that the coverage of the roofing sheet is 1000mm (1 meter) once they are lapped and fitted. It also means that the depth of the profile from the top of the profile to the bottom of the valleys is 32mm.
Although we stock the sizes shown on this page, we can also manufacture box profile steel roofing sheets at any length you require, up to 10 meters in length. Most commonly box profile roofing sheets are used as a single skin sheeting system, form part of a double skin insulated roofing system or to overclad an existing roof.
