Site boxes and secure tool stores
Where the kit spends the night decides the tool store: in a steel box near the work, locked in the van, or in a walk-in store once the stock has outgrown a row of boxes.
Tuffbank site boxes
Tuffbank site boxes, which the trade also calls tool vaults or site safes, are lockable steel chests for power tools, hand tools and small plant left on site between shifts. They suit a single trade or a small gang that needs its kit close to the workface. The range runs from a compact chest to a long vault for larger tools.
Van tool storage boxes
The Tuffbank van tool storage box is sized for the load space of a van. Electricians, plumbers and other mobile trades can then leave tools locked in the vehicle overnight or between jobs. Choose it when the van is the store, and a site box when the tools stay on one project.
Modular tool and equipment stores
When a project's tools no longer fit in boxes, modular tool and equipment stores give a lockable walk-in room. Steel COSHH cabinets for drums and IBCs
COSHH storage cabinets for drums and IBCs keep fuel, oil and other liquids above a sump, behind heavy duty doors, with fire resistance for up to 30 minutes. Plant yards and large sites can move up to the heavy duty COSHH cabinet, which takes up to 1,110 litres and has wide doors for loading drums.
Polyethylene COSHH cabinets
Polyethylene COSHH cabinets are rotationally moulded, with shelves above an integral bund. They suit chemicals that would corrode a steel cabinet, and sizes run from a small shelved unit to one that holds a single drum upright.
COSHH cages
The COSHH cage has galvanised mesh sides that let air move through the store, with a welded sump and a removable grated floor. It is the choice where gas and liquid products share one store or the substances call for ventilation, and it collapses and stacks when the job ends.
Walk-in COSHH modular stores

Gas bottle storage cages
All three cages stand cylinders in open air behind steel mesh. The choice between them is the finish, the number of bottles and how often the cage moves.
Galvanised gas bottle storage cages
Gas bottle storage cages in galvanised steel arrive with health and safety signage attached and a padlock point. They are ready to stand in a compound for LPG and other bottled gases, in sizes from a low cage for a few bottles to a full height store.
Gas cylinder cages
Gas cylinder cages come in hot dip galvanised or black powder coat. The black finish suits public-facing sites such as retail, hospitality and event venues.
Heavy duty gas bottle cages
The heavy duty gas bottle cage is built on a box steel base for larger bottle counts, with castors as an option. It suits a store that is moved around a yard or between work areas as the job progresses.

The mobile cutting station brings cutting to the floor being worked on. A site then has no need to give up a room as a separate cutting room, which matters most in fit-out and refurbishment work where space on each floor is limited.
Lockable and open front workstations
The lockable workstation gives a standing work position with adjustable shelves behind 2-point locking doors, for drawings, permits and small tools in a stores area or at a site entrance. The open front workstation has no doors and an angled top, for a sign-in point or briefing station. Both are made in the UK in a choice of body and door colours.

Each store is matched to what it holds. Tools and power tools go in a tool vault. Fuel, oil, paints and chemicals go in a COSHH store, and gas cylinders go in a ventilated mesh cage. A leaking cylinder valve fills an enclosed box with gas, while a mesh cage lets it disperse. On a tight compound, the hazardous substances storage box shares its footprints with the Tuffbank boxes. The COSHH store can then stand beside the tool vault on the same ground, and the site keeps tools and hazardous stock apart without giving up extra space.
Sizing and securing construction site storage
Sizing to the gang and the kit
Measure the longest item that has to go inside, such as a level, a cut-off saw or lengths of conduit, because length decides the right box more often than volume. On a large site, two smaller boxes placed at separate workfaces keep tools close to the work and limit the loss if one is broken into.
Bund capacity for liquids
A bund has to hold at least the contents of the largest container in the store, and more where several drums or IBCs stand together. Sump capacities across the range run from 17 litres in the smallest polyethylene cabinet to 485 litres in the larger steel cabinet.
Galvanised or powder coated finish

Crane and forklift lifting cages
Crane lift goods cages carry loose goods, fittings and debris between levels and across a site, with lifting points and forklift guides so either machine can move them. The forklift and crane lifting cage is a lockable sheet steel crate for high-value kit that has to be moved and stored in one container.
Fitting bins and post pallets
