Safety Net Fans are now a common site on many construction sites – especially construction sites that are in heavily congested conurbations and city centres – and most definitely anywhere where there is significant pedestrian footfall around the site. A major factor, especially in city projects is the potential of debris falling from overhead construction sites – therefore the Safety Fan is an essential piece of kit for your site safety. They are more regularly used, so often site workers will have been trained in the installation of the Safety Fan.
There are two options of Safety Fan – Mini, which does not require a crane for installation or to move it and can be done manually., the Standard, which leans from the building by 3.2m and can catch up to 100kg (approx. 15 ½ stones) and is overlaid with a 20mm square net to stop small items passing. This fan can be attached to RC Frame, Steel Frame and Scaffolding and requires a crane.
