There is a range of waste management products and waste equipment available at HERMEQ. Our Waste Skips come in a number of sizes and are suitable for general waste, recycling and bulky materials from construction and demolition operations. Tipping Skips are a more heavy duty option ideal for industrial environments and building sites. Concrete Washout systems allow you to wash off concrete skips and other concrete equipment – we also have environmentally friendly systems available. Pump Trays are mainly used on construction sites and are an easy-to-use method of capturing and disposing of waste. Spillage kits are a mobile way for spill containment and managing leaks on-site from plant and machinery. They provide better environmental protection than metal drop trays as they do not retain water – oils and fuels are turned into solid mass within the textile as soon as the leak takes place. Other waste disposal products include industrial wheelie bins for waste materials with lifters available to safely lift, move and empty bins. Septic tanks are excellent for dealing with sewage on-site.

Wheelie Bins
HERMEQ wheelie bins are two-wheeled and four-wheeled bins manufactured in the UK and built to EN 840, the European standard for mobile waste containers. The range covers 80, 120, 240, 660 and 1100 litre bins in a choice of colours, with custom printing available, for commercial, industrial and domestic waste.For heavy collection work, the metal 1100 litre bin has a hot-dip galvanised steel body with internally welded seams that keep water out and resist corrosion. The industrial wheelie bin tipper lets a forklift lift, move and empty 660 and 1100 litre bins on site.

Tipper Skips
Tipping skips, also known in the trade as tipper skips, collect waste where it is produced and empty it into a larger skip, bin or bay by forklift, telehandler or crane, with no shovelling or manual lifting. HERMEQ supplies them for construction and demolition sites, factories, machine shops and recycling yards.The range covers forklift self tipping skips, heavy duty, lidded and mesh extension skips, telehandler skips with auto lock, crane lift and circular skips, rotating skip bins, and mini and low height skips for the factory floor, from 150 to 2,400 litres. HERMEQ manufactures in the UK with in-house steel processing, and most models come in standard colours or a custom RAL finish.

Spill Kits
Spill kits are a mobile way to contain spills and manage leaks from plant, machinery, vehicles and stored liquids on site. Each kit holds absorbent pads and socks with a disposal bag, so a spill can be ringed, soaked up and bagged where it happens. For leaks under parked plant, the Plant Nappy in the wider range gives better environmental protection than a metal drop tray because it does not hold rainwater. HERMEQ supplies spill kits for oil and fuel, chemical, general purpose, AdBlue and body fluid spills, from bag kits and drum stations to wheeled bins and high capacity kits, held in permanent UK stock with nationwide delivery.

Washouts & Pumps
Concrete washout equipment gives a site one controlled place to wash off concrete skips, pumps, truck mixers and other concrete plant, and the range includes closed loop systems that separate the solids from the wash water and recycle it. Our concrete skip washout frames take pouring skips in a variety of sizes. Pump trays are used mainly on construction sites to capture concrete waste and wash water for disposal, and they are simple to move, with fork pockets on three sides and retaining pins that let the tray be tipped to empty.

Spill Absorbents
HERMEQ spill absorbents soak up and contain leaks and spillages before they spread across a floor, reach a drain or contaminate the ground. The range is graded for general purpose, oil and fuel, and chemical spills, so the absorbent can be matched to the liquid for a quick response to any leak or spillage incident. Formats cover absorbent pads, rolls, socks and cushions, land, drain and marine booms, and polymer oil absorption pillows and oil retention booms. Drum & IBC Containment
HERMEQ spill pallets give secondary containment for 205 litre drums and 1,000 litre IBCs holding acids, alkalis, oils and non-hazardous chemicals. The range covers drum spill pallets for one to eight drums and single and double IBC spill pallets, in polyethylene or galvanised steel, with open sumps for stores under a roof and covered units for outdoor yards. Each sump holds the liquid from a leaking or damaged container until it is recovered, so it stays off the floor and out of the drains. HERMEQ delivers nationwide.

Drain Covers
HERMEQ drain covers seal a drain grid quickly to stop oil, fuel, chemicals and polluted water entering the drainage system. The range is used on construction sites, industrial premises, yards and loading bays. It covers mechanical drain seals, magnetic drain covers, adhesive polyurethane covers, clay drain mats and neoprene drain mats.The range spans several sizes, for spill response from a vehicle or standing protection at a high-risk drain.
