Drop Bottom Skip
Heavy-duty drop-bottom skips are designed to make the transportation and disposal of bulk waste incredibly easy by simply dropping the bottom, making this one of the most efficient waste disposal methods. Drop bottom skips, also known as muck away skips, are used in the transportation and disposal of waste. The drop bottom skips are filled and transported using a crane or forklift to where the waste will be disposed of. Then the bottom of the skip is opened allowing the waste to fall out. This is one of the most effective and time-saving methods of disposing of waste as it reduces the risk of waste being left behind or snagging during tipping, which may be a problem incurred with other waste disposal products, such as tipping skips.

The waste containers can be stacked on top of one another making for easy transportation and storage. The solid steel walls and reinforced edges, with a robust spring-secured bottom flap, make this one of the most robust drop bottom skips available in Europe. The flap mechanism can be operated via a rope pull from the driver's seat, also making this a safe method of disposing of waste. The flap mechanism on the drop-bottom skip automatically locks once the skip is set down on its bottom. The massive welded support brackets are in place for safe and easy chaining and transportation using overhead and free-standing cranes.Â
The drop bottom skips can be supplied in a range of sizes to meet your requirements, with safe working loads (SWL) up to 2000 kilograms.
