Our Safe Lift Anti-Skid Road Plates have been designed with an integrated lifting socket welded central to the plate – this enables each plate to be handled using a single-leg chain.
Road Plates are typically used as a road surface for traffic and pedestrians to cover temporary excavations for traffic management when work is being carried out.
Each Road Plate is 2400 x 1200 x 19mm thick and is supplied with a Single Leg Chain and Safe Lift Road Plate Lifting Adaptor.
Our Safe Lift Road Plates come supplied as minimum steel material grade S275JR and are anti-skid coated as standard.
Each Road Plate comes with a 30mm diameter hole in each corner for securing the plate to ground anchors.
To lift the plates using the Single Leg Chain, your Lifting Adaptor must be inserted into the central lifting socket on the plate and a chain hook is attached to the Adaptor to lift the plate.
With the Safe Lift Road Plate, the process of lifting Road Plates provides a balanced lift and becomes much easier and quicker as plates do not need to be chocked at each corner to gain access to lifting points. In addition, this method only requires one person to operate.
