The Shipping Container Ramp makes the process of loading shipping containers easier, faster, and safer in the simplest of ways. By providing a small incline into the shipping container, the Shipping Container Ramp allows forklifts to enter the container. This allows loads to be loaded much quicker and easier than they would be by hand.
The design of the Shipping Container Ramp allows the ramp to withstand up to 6000 kg. This incredible maximum load capacity is certain to accommodate most loads without compromising the structural integrity of the ramp.
To increase the grip of the forklift truck wheels while they are on the Container Ramp, the top of the ramp features a chequer plate design that provides high levels of grip.
The Shipping Container Ramp has two cutouts at the front to allow the ramp to be easily relocated via forklift once loading is complete. This small feature also makes the Shipping-Container Ramp easier to stack and store when not in use.
The Shipping Container Ramp is suitable for use with most containers apart from refrigerated shipping containers due to their size. The Container-Ramp can be used with flat deck shipping containers that are 10ft, 20ft, or 40ft in size.
The Shipping Container Ramp can be hired with additional heavy-duty chains on each side with accompanying D shackles. With the addition of ramp chains, the Container Ramp can be attached to the shipping container for extra security.
Before using the Shipping Container Ramp, an appropriate risk assessment should be conducted to ensure the chance of accidents and injuries are kept as low as possible. Ensure the Shipping Container is always used on flat concrete ground and that the maximum load capacity is never exceeded.
