These ladder guards ensure that site ladders are protected from unauthorised access. With a quick lock in position to ensure swift protection these ladders are secured using padlocks under the HSE advice. The HSE advises that ladders on site should be removed when being unused, however as most construction sites require these ladders daily, a ladder guard is instead recommended. Ladder guards prevent access during out-of-hour operations such as night-time from trespassers on construction sites.
These Ladder Guards cover at least 6 rungs both front and rear, ensuring that no more than 5 rungs can be stepped onto and do not pull away or tilt the ladder to ensure a safe and secure protection in out of hour operation times.
