Scaffold Platform for Material Loading is a certified solution for scaffold loading in vertical builds. Designed to simplify high-rise logistics, it enables secure crane-assisted transfer of scaffold sections, site tools, and material pallets directly onto working decks.

This heavy-duty scaffold platform minimises manual handling risks by allowing contractors to stage and offload goods where they’re needed. With edge protection, non-slip decking, and 4000kg capacity, it supports safe, repeatable loading operations in medium to large projects including commercial refurbishments and tower builds.

Key Features & Benefits

  • 4000kg load rating - Carries scaffold gear, material cages, or fixings directly from crane to platform.
  • Anti-skid deck with rails - Prevents slips and provides edge containment during scaffold loading operations.
  • Dual-mount system - Clamp to scaffold or anchor into slab—adaptable to phase and structure.
  • Improves logistics - Reduces delays by placing materials exactly where needed—no intermediate handling.
  • Reusable construction - Engineered for performance across multiple high-rise job sites.

Product Value & Applications
This scaffold platform is a productivity asset for large projects requiring scaffold loading in tight timeframes. Its capacity and safety certification allow for crane unloading of heavy materials without needing floor clearance or manual handling, helping to maintain programme efficiency. Scaffolders, cladders, and fit-out teams can access materials floor-by-floor while reducing trip hazards or downtime. It enables fast vertical logistics—especially on façade builds, structural works or internal multi-storey refurbs. Designed to exceed UK compliance standards for temporary lifting platforms, it reduces risk while increasing handling precision. For additional versatility, use in combination with the Scaffold Access Stairway or switch to the Forklift Access Platform for lower-height, non-crane applications. HERMEQ stocks a wide range of equipment for Working at Height including Edge Protection Systems, Fall Arrest Systems, and Harnesses & Lanyards conforming to all required safety specifications and regulations.

Available in three lengths (1.25m, 1.5m, 2.2m), this scaffold loading platform accommodates site layout constraints while maximising capacity. Platform widths range from 1456mm to 2403mm with corresponding unload zones sized between 1250mm and 2200mm.

Each unit is built using S235/S355 steel and aluminium, balancing strength and weight for crane compatibility. Optional supports allow use on uneven or incomplete structures without compromising load rating.

Mount using integrated clamps or fix directly to concrete floor slabs. Finish options include hot-dip galvanisation (ISO 1461) or powder coat for corrosion resistance. Tested and approved by IMBiGS Institute in compliance with PN-EN 12811-3.

What is the permissible load of the unloading platform?
The platform is rated for a maximum load of 40 kN, equivalent to 4000 kg, regardless of how the weight is distributed across the surface.

Does the platform form a seamless surface with the floor?
Yes. When installed, the platform is level with the floor slab, ensuring safe and efficient transfer of materials without tripping hazards.

What installation methods are supported?
The platform can be anchored directly into the concrete floor slab or supported using braces, offering flexibility depending on site structure.

How is the platform protected against corrosion?
It features either hot-dip galvanisation (in compliance with PN-EN ISO 1461) or powder coating for strong resistance against environmental exposure.

Is the platform certified?
Yes, it has received a positive result from the IMBiGS Institute and is compliant with PN-EN 12811-3 standards, ensuring its suitability for professional construction environments.
