Silo Foundation Base Slabs are sectional precast concrete foundation base slabs used for siting silos.
We supply two different size options and are used to provide stability and support for the weight material on your site.
Typically, we recommend 3x slabs to form the foundation for a typical silo (3000mm x 3000mm).

Silos are tall, cylindrical structures used for storing bulk materials such as grains, cement or other granular products. Silos can be subject to substantial vertical loads due to the weight of the stored material. The Foundation Base Slab helps distribute these loads evenly to prevent uneven settling and structural instability.
The design of the base slab for silos takes into account the weight of the silo, the stored material and environmental factors such as wind.
Manufactured from precast concrete of high strength to withstand the concentrated loads and potential dynamic forces that can result from the filling and emptying of the silo.
Each Slab is reusable being able to be transported to other sites.
