A swivel water trough with a quick empty pivoting mechanism used for hydrating cattle. Suitable for cattle and sheep lairage, beef/sheep feed units and abattoirs the trough can regularly be cleaned due to the drink and slip swivel motion. The trough can be integrated directly into a gate or panel and can be used from both sides, perfect for large shared access pens. Hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 standards.

Details

A low volume water trough that is designed to regularly turn and regularly be cleaned, using the pivoting mechanism. Used as a tool to hydrate cattle such as beef, sheep and other cattle in feed units and abattoirs this swivel water trough can be used from both sides, allowing large scale neighbouring pens to share water.

When used with a shroud (sheet metal covering) the trough stops livestock from drinking from their bedding area, preventing emptied water drenching their bedding, saving time and money.

The swivel water trough can be integrated into a gate or panel and is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 standards. The trough is coated with an extra layer of steel, iron and zinc to prolong the equipment's longevity when in contact with water, food and silage.

Note: Recommended to apply food-safe and non-toxic epoxy to areas of the trough that will be in contact with food, water and silage before use and periodically after when empty and clean to prevent corrosion
