Temporary Downpipe
Downpipes protect surfaces such as woodwork, brickwork, stone cladding, and numerous other surfaces during construction from water damage. Used to provide temporary downpipes (downward guttering) on incomplete guttering systems they ensure other building jobs such as painting, rendering, and pointing can be carried out underneath. The downpipe prevents water from the gutter damaging any existing work. Made from heavy duty polythene and 100% waterproof this temporary downpipe can be attached using to the gutter using cable ties or jubilee clips. Rolls are supplied in widths of either 150mm or 300mm and are 165m long.

Working on buildings can sometimes be a long strenuous process. A lot of things may be incomplete such as guttering, painting and general brickwork. When guttering is incomplete, water damage can occur and effect the result of painting and brickwork, leading to revisions being done later in time. To prevent this a temporary downpipe is used to prevent water from spilling out onto brickwork, woodwork and any other surfaces allowing workers to carry out their duties and ensuring jobs such as painting can be done without disruptions.
The temporary downpipe is made from flexible heavy-duty polythene which can be fixed onto incomplete guttering with cable ties or jubilee clips. The temporary downpipes work with all types of guttering no matter the size.
