Traffic direction control plates are ideal for car parks and entrances. They control the direction of vehicles by only allowing them to pass in one direction. These surface mounted traffic direction control plates are easily installed by being bolted down to existing road surfaces, removing the need for an excavation of the road surface to install.
Surface mounted traffic direction control plates are ideal for use on sloped, as well as flat, entry or exit roads & are particularly common for controlling the vehicle directions in multi-storey car parks.
The plates are manufactured with a sophisticated inbuilt spring action, which ensures that the plate returns to an upright position once traffic has passed over it. Constructed from heavy steel, the flow control plate is designed to encourage a mono-directional flow of traffic, as well as deterring vehicles from entering if travelling from the opposing direction.
Note: these flow plates are not suitable for heavy goods vehicles (max 7.5 tonne).
