V Mesh vehicle gates, manufactured by HERMEQ in a range of sizes from mild steel & clad with Twin Wire (656) mesh. These vehicle gates are then galvanised & powder coated in our own plant. The gates come fit with either slide latches or Locinox locking mechanisms to help increase the security of your site.Â

HERMEQ have two different locking mechanisms as standard, although there are many others available upon request. Our two most popular gate locks are the simple slide latch system, where a slide latch connects the two gate leaf’s together and then you can use a padlock to lock the V mesh gates closed.Â
Our other option is a premium Locinox system. A lockinox system is fitted to the gate on-site, all of the components are provided & holes drilled into the frame of the V mesh gate ready for the Locinox lock to be installed. The Locinox lock has a handle on either side of the gate for closing & releasing the gate. The system also have a key lock, allowing you to lock the gates once they are closed.Â
The specification of the gate depends upon the height and width of the gate required - our mechanical engineers & CAD technicians can happily provide drawings upon request for our standard gates, or we can produce bespoke drawings according to your gate requirements.Â
Our gate posts range from 80 x 80 x 5mm posts on 3m wide vehicle gates, up to 150 x 150 x 5mm posts on our 7 & 8m wide gates. These larger post sizes allow the gate to more comfortable deal with the increased weight of the gate caused by having larger leaf’s on wider gates.Â
As standard all of our twin wire gates come clad with 656 wire. We can provide other mesh finishes on our gates if required. All of our gates are also fitted with eye-bolts (ranging from 19 - 35mm), allowing fitters to adjust the eyebolts to accommodate site conditions.Â
Our gates can be powder coated in our GEMA powder coating plant in any RAL colour. As standard we offer green and black, as they are the most popular gate colours, however we can paint the gates any colour required. Price may vary depending on the price & minimum order quantity of the powder needed to produce your required finish, but with a 10 minute change over time on our powder coating plant, we can rapidly change between colours to turn around bespoke and unique V mesh gates.Â
Product and Finish Standards
- Mesh panel wire manufactured to BS 4102 and galvanised to BS EN 10244-2:2001 class D, weld strength is 75% of the minimum tensile strength of the wire (tensile range 540-690 N/m2)
- Post material manufactured to BS EN 10210-2:1997 and galvanised to BS EN 10346:2009
- Panels & Posts are powder coated to BS EN 13438:2005 (min 100 micron)
- All welding carried out in accordance with BS EN 1011-1 and BS EN 1011-2 by suitable personnel qualified according to BS EN 287-1
