Wire Rope Fall Arrest Block with Integrated Recovery System
Our Wire Rope Fall Arrest Block with an Integrated Recovery System is a device used in fall protection systems to halt falls and to facilitate the retrieval or recovery of a fallen worker. It typically allows for the raising or lowering of the individual who has fallen, making it a versatile solution in various working-at-height scenarios. This version weighs 7.4kg and uses galvanised steel wire rope with a diameter of 4.5mm and an internal braking mechanism to reduce the fall arrest force to less than 6 kN.
Features
Fall Arrest Functionality - Similar to a standard fall arrest block, it is designed to stop the fall of a person in the event of a sudden descent. The internal braking mechanism activates to lock the wire rope and prevent further descent.
Wire Rope - The device is equipped with a 15m long wire rope made of high-strength galvanised steel allowing the user to move within a designated work area. For vertical use only.
Integrated Recovery System - This feature enables the device not only to arrest falls but also to assist in the retrieval or recovery of a fallen worker.
Casing - The device is housed in durable polymer casing that protects the internal components from environmental factors and potential damage. Usable in explosive atmospheres. Designed with 2x swivel rotations.
Swivel Snap Hook - Fitted at attachment end with built-in fall indicator using integrated recovery system.
