Wire Rope Fall Arrest Block is a piece of safety equipment designed for use in fall protection systems. Designed to halt the fall of a person in the event of a sudden descent and slow down their descent speed.
We supply sizes starting from 6 metres up to a maximum of 20 metres in steel wire length.
The wire measures 4.5mm in diameter and has a resistance of up to 12kN.

Features
- Casing: encases the internal components of the fall arrest block and has been made from high-strength polymer to prevent breakage and is virtually indestructible. Comes with 2x swivel rotations.
- Wire Rope: manufactured from steel and located inside the casing and can be supplied up to 20m in length. Vertical use only.
- Braking Mechanism: internal braking mechanism incorporated within the casing which is activated in the event of a fall locking the wire rope and preventing further descent. Critical Safety Feature which helps reduce the impact forces on the user during a fall.
- Swivel Snap Hook: comes fitted at attachment end with built-in fall indicator.
