Chestnut Posts are used in Water Margin Protection alongside our Coir Logs to protect banks and restore banks and shorelines. Posts come traditionally peeled and pointed and come as a mix of either round or hand cleft.
All of our Chestnut Posts have been sourced from sustainable forests.
Chestnut Posts are used with a range of options in our Water Margin Protection range for erosion control to protect vulnerable water margins and to support the restoration of waterside vegetation. Other options in this range include Brushwood Faggots, Rock Rolls and Coir Fencing.
