Powder Coated Steel Planters are containers made from steel that have been coated with a layer of powdered pigment. This coating is applied electrostatically and then cured under heat, creating a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint.

These planters offer several advantages:

  1. Durability: The powder coating provides excellent protection against rust, corrosion, and fading, making the planters suitable for outdoor use in various weather conditions.

  2. Aesthetic Appeal: Powder coating offers a wide range of colours and finishes, allowing for customisation to match any design scheme or landscape.

  3. Low Maintenance: Compared to other materials like untreated steel or wood, powder-coated steel requires minimal maintenance. Simply wiping them down periodically with a mild detergent is usually sufficient to keep them looking good.

  4. Versatility: Steel planters can be fabricated into various shapes and sizes, making them versatile for different landscaping and gardening needs.

  5. Environmentally Friendly: Powder coating is an environmentally friendly finishing process because it produces minimal volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and does not contain solvents like traditional liquid paints.

Planters are containers specifically designed for growing plants, flowers, herbs, and sometimes even small trees. They serve several purposes and are used in various settings, including:

  1. Gardening: Planters are commonly used for gardening when outdoor space is limited or soil quality is poor. They allow gardeners to grow a wide range of plants, including vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs, in controlled environments.

  2. Decoration: Planters are often used as decorative elements in both indoor and outdoor spaces. They add greenery and color to balconies, patios, decks, porches, gardens, and interior spaces such as living rooms, offices, and lobbies.

  3. Space Optimization: In urban environments or areas with limited outdoor space, planters provide a way to incorporate greenery without the need for large garden beds. They can be placed strategically to maximize space and create inviting environments.

  4. Landscaping: In landscaping projects, planters are used to define outdoor spaces, create visual interest, and add texture and depth to landscapes. They can be arranged in clusters or used as focal points to enhance the overall design.

  5. Privacy Screening: Tall planters filled with dense foliage can be used to create privacy screens or barriers on balconies, patios, or other outdoor areas, shielding them from view and creating a sense of seclusion.

  6. Seasonal Displays: Planters are often used to display seasonal plants and flowers, such as tulips in the spring, mums in the fall, or poinsettias during the winter holidays. They can be easily changed out to reflect the changing seasons and add seasonal flair to outdoor spaces.

  7. Indoor Air Quality: Indoor planters not only add beauty to interior spaces but also help improve air quality by filtering out pollutants and adding oxygen to the air. They contribute to a healthier indoor environment and can even boost mood and productivity.

Each Planter has been powder coated by cleaning the entire steel surface to ensure all dirt and grease have been removed. The Steel Planter is then electro-zinc plated for a robust corrosion-resistant layer on the steel before the powder coating treatment is applied. The coating is then cured at 200°C to provide a durable, long-lasting finish. Once cooled a final inspection is carried out before being sent to your location.

Powder coated steel provides an extremely durable finish and requires zero maintenance over time. Each Planter will last for many years and we also offer a 5 year guarantee for peace of mind.

Zero assembly required.
