Non-Biodegradable Erosion Control Techmat perfect for use where longer design life is desired (i.e. more than one or two seasons).
Manufactured from randomly oriented monofilament polypropylene and when pinned in place and filled with topsoil, this Techmat provides excellent intimate contact with the underlying soil to encourage growth through the mat.
As vegetation establishes, the roots become entwined within and through the structure of the Techmat to help secure the vegetation and inhibit erosion of the underlying soil.
