Safe Base Anti-Trip Fence Feet
Steel Anti-Trip Fence Base including location holes for securing the fence base in place & the ability to add on the HERMEQ Wind Resistance System.
The Safe Base Anti-Trip Fence Foot is designed to give you a secure fence base that eliminates the presence of a trip hazard on one side. These can be used alongside both our steel site hoarding panels and our temporary mesh fencing panels.
We recommend using this fence base in one of two ways.
1) In conjunction with a specially designed Safe Base Wind Resistance System. The anti-trip steel fence foot can receive a steel tube into it. This can then be secured in place by tightening the clamping bolt on the back of the anti-trip fence foot. This tube is then connected to a block tray and weight is applied to this block tray, normally in the form of concrete blocks, rubber blocks or sand bags. Once this is secured in place a stabilisers is fitted connecting this block tray is connected to a fence clip / coupler which is located higher up the panel (normally around 2/3rd of the way up). This helps to create a solid triangular support for the fencing line, which is supported by a ballast and stabiliser system.
2) In conjunction with a base plated stabiliser. This anti-trip foot can be used alongside a free standing base-plated stabiliser. The anti-trip foot should be fixed in place by using ground pins or ground bolts through the location holes on the anti-trip base. These are located at the front, rear and at either side of the fence base to make sure that you can firmly secure it in place. In addition to this you can then add a base plated stabiliser, which can also be secured to the ground to give extra support to your perimeter fencing and to give the fence line a greater wind resistance.
