The HERMEQ Road Barrier Stillage is a UK-manufactured steel storage and transport frame for plastic road barriers. Available in 20, 30 and 40-barrier capacities, it features twin forklift bars, a stated 1.5-tonne load capacity and a stackable design that allows units to be positioned two high.

The Road Barrier Stillage provides a dedicated storage and handling system for contractors and organisations managing plastic barriers in volume. Instead of leaving barriers in loose piles, the open steel frame keeps them grouped upright and ready for loading, deployment or return to storage.
- Choice of storage capacity – Available in 20, 30 and 40-barrier versions, allowing buyers to match the stillage to fleet size, vehicle space or depot throughput.
- Twin forklift bars – The base is designed for forklift access, helping teams reposition loaded stillages around yards, compounds and storage areas.
- Two-high stacking – Units are designed to stack up to two high, making better use of available floor space in suitable storage and transport environments.
- Heavy-duty SHS steel frame – Manufactured from 50 × 50 × 2.5mm hot-rolled square hollow-section steel for repeated storage and handling duties.
- Road barrier compatibility – Designed to hold HERMEQ Chapter 8 barriers and most standard plastic road barriers measuring up to 2m long.
All three sizes use the same 935 × 935mm footprint. The height increases with capacity, allowing businesses to standardise the stillage base while selecting the number of barriers required for different vehicles, depots or projects.
Custom powder-coat colours can be specified for fleet identification or equipment management. Bespoke stillage sizes may also be manufactured for particular barrier models or quantities. Custom requirements should be confirmed with HERMEQ before ordering.
