Engineered for high-demand hoarding applications, HERMEQ’s 750kg concrete breeze blocks are designed to increase wind loading capacity in confined or high-traffic areas. These blocks are compact, stable, and manufactured for compatibility with standard timber and steel hoarding systems.

With a footprint of just 600mm wide, they’re perfect for pedestrian zones and city centres, where spacing restrictions and safety regulations require careful planning. Despite their small size, these concrete blocks offer exceptional strength and can withstand significant pressure loads.

Key features & benefits:

  • Concrete block for retaining wall and hoarding ballast – Stabilises fence lines and temporary partitions.
  • Interlocking breeze block system – Suitable for linked runs or independent spacing.
  • 2.5-tonne rated lifting point – Includes certified spherical pin anchor for LOLER-compliant handling.
  • Compact footprint – 600mm wide design for limited-space zones or pedestrian pathways.
  • Ideal for urban or roadside projects – Supports short or long-term installation needs.

These hoarding ballast blocks are cast from high-strength concrete and tested to ensure safe handling under load. The spherical lifting anchor enables secure lifting with certified clutch systems, improving operational safety and compliance during delivery and installation.

What are breeze blocks used for in hoarding systems?
They provide ballast to reinforce the hoarding structure and prevent collapse under wind pressure or impact.

Are these blocks forklift and LOLER compliant?
Yes. Each includes a 2.5T-rated spherical anchor suitable for use with compliant lifting clutches and mechanical offloading systems.

Can these be used in pedestrian areas?
Yes. The 600mm wide profile is ideal for city centres, footpaths, and tight urban construction zones.

Do they work with steel and timber hoarding?
Yes. These breeze blocks are compatible with both timber and steel hoarding systems used across UK construction sites.
