L8 Waling Bar
L8 Walers (4m Long) are used to form L8 interlocking sheet pile tie back systems. The Walers are 4m long & overlap one another on the face of the tie back system. These Waler Rails are then used to secure the face of the system & hold the L8 sheet piles in place, as they run across multiple L8 sheets that face the canal or river. These L8 Waler Rails are held in place using 20mm diameter tie rods, which run through the anchor L8 sheet pile, front water side L8 sheet pile & the Waler rail. The tie rods connect the hole system together and are secured with bolts and washers on each end of the tie back system.
L8 Waling Bars are used to form part of a trench sheet tie back system. These are ideal for Bankside retention and used extensively alongside Canals, Rivers and Marinas. Supplied normally as part of a package of L8 trench sheets, waler rails and tie back rods, this system can be used in different configurations depending on the site and ground conditions.
