Horizontal Temporary Lifeline 20m
HERMEQ’s Horizontal Temporary Lifeline is used in fall protection systems to protect workers who are operating at heights. The Lifeline is horizontally stretched between two anchor points providing a secure connection for workers to attach their fall protection equipment. It has an adjustable length from 5 - 20 metres and a horizontal lifeline in 30mm polyester webbing. This Temporary Lifeline is also tested for use by 2 people.
Features
Anchor Points - The lifeline requires secure anchor points at both ends. These anchor points must be capable of supporting the load and be properly engineered to ensure safety.
Connectors - Workers attach themselves to the lifeline using personal fall arrest systems (PFAS) equipped with appropriate connectors. These connectors should be designed to withstand the forces generated during a fall.
Tensioning System - Some HTLs come with a tensioning system that allows for proper tensioning of the lifeline to minimize sag, ensuring that the lifeline is effective in the event of a fall.
